Rental Frequently Asked Questions
Q. When is check-in and check-out?
A. Check-in time is 2:00 PM. Check-out time is 11:00 AM. NO EXCEPTIONS. Owners and cleaning services need access to the property. Most weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday. If the property rents Sunday to Sunday, this will be specified in the comments section of the property. You may check in anytime between 2:00 to 5:00 PM, all keys must be returned to our office by 11:00 AM on the day of check-out.
Q. What is the check-in procedure?
A. At 2:00 PM on the day of your arrival, please come to our office at 26 38th St. At that time we will collect any unpaid balance, receive two sets of keys for the property, and a Welcome Bag of local menus and coupons.
Q. Does your office rent to groups?
A. Yes, we have group rentals in various locations and they are available for the entire summer season. We do not rent to groups weekly. We do not do SENIOR WEEK RENTALS or AFTER PROM RENTALS.
Q. Do we have pet rentals?
A. We have a few owners that will accept pets. Pets are listed as an amenity on our search page.
Q. How is payment made on a rental?
A. A payment schedule is arranged when your lease is prepared. The final payment is due within 3 weeks before your check-in. PERSONAL CHECK are only accepted 3 weeks prior to check-in. If your payment is not made before this time, payment must be either in cash, bank check or money order. We do not accept credit cards at this time.
Q. What if I have an unpaid balance?
A. Please try to pay your balance in advance as this will speed the check-in process. If you do have a balance on the day of check-in, payment must be either in cash, bank check or money order. No keys will be given unless the balance is paid in full. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q. What are the fees?
A. Sea Winds of Sea Isle DOES NOT charge a booking fee. You will only be charged for the rent and the refundable damage deposit, or pet deposit if applicable.
Q. When do I receive my damage deposit back?
A. Damage deposits are returned within 3 weeks after your check-out date.
Q. What do I need to bring?
A. Property owners do not supply linens and towels. You can find the bed sizes for your rental unit on your lease or on our website www.seawindsofseaisle.com. You can also call our office for this information or a recommendation for a linen rental company.
Q. Are Beach Tags provided? Where can I buy beach tags?
A. Some owners MAY provide them as a courtesy. In general, they are not included. If tags are provided, please be sure to leave them for the next tenants.
You can buy beach tags at the entrance to the beach, from the beach tag checkers on the beach or at 23 JFK Blvd. Children under 12 are free.
Q. Is telephone service included? Is internet service included?
A. Most rental properties include local telephone service. Long distance is not included. Most rental properties do not include internet access. However, please check the amenities section on your lease to determine if the property owner supplies this service.
Q. How can I reserve for next year?
A. I you want to reserve the same unit for next year, we strongly recommend that you let us know before you leave. We will give you a reservation form or you can pick one up in our office. ALL RESERVATION ARE SUBJECT TO OWNER APPROVAL AND OWNER PRICING
Q. Do I need to clean my rental prior to my departure?
A. Yes, all rental units are inspected by the owner or their service when you leave. You are required to leave the unit clean when you check-out. This includes removing trash, emptying the refrigerator, as well as vacuuming, and wiping down the kitchen and bathrooms. If you have excess trash or recycling, you can take it to the drop off area under the bridge on your way out of town. Your agent can recommend a cleaning service if you so desire.
Q. What are your hours?
A. We are open Monday through Saturday 9 AM to 5PM and Sunday 10AM to 2 PM
